We had Garth from the Reptile Road Show come to our home for our son’s J.D.’s 11th b-day party. It was a wonderful, exciting, spine tingling yet thrilling day to say the least. The kids were able to see and touch animals they’d only heard of in books. His knowledge and love for his animals is easy to see as he interacts with the kids and the crazy questions they unload on him. Even if you have a resistant scardy-cat in your group (which we did) every last child was still enthralled in what he was saying and showing them.. He went above and beyond for us when we asked if he could put together living quarters for a baby Ball Python we asked him to find for us as a surprise gift for J.D. He presented him with a beautiful fully equipped aquarium with everything he would need for his snake. It was a birthday that will forever stand out in J.D’s life. I would recommend the Reptile Road Show birthday party to any parent with a child who loves animals. It’s unique, interesting to the young and old and you come away with some seriously fabulous pictures!

Garth Pithan provides an entertaining and informative Reptile Road Show and more. We met him during a Parks and Rec class he taught. It was packed with interesting information about the animals he shared from his collection. He was entertaining and patient as he taught his class. I was amazed at the variety, quality, and quantity of his collection.
Even with all the animals he shared, I was amazed how extensive his entire collection was when we picked up Leo, our baby Ball Python he had bred. His basement is full of interesting critters, each with its own story.
He was careful to provide a well adjusted pet, only after insuring its health. He provided all the information we needed to raise a healthy friendly snake the whole family has fallen in love with. He is truly a reptile subject matter expert.
